Number 5 sounds like a dare. And number 7 is akin to elevator surfing / hanging for the disability

#6 makes it pretty clear that riding this elevator is generally a bad idea, unless you can’t avoid it…

What about very small children with disabilities in wheelchairs during a thunderstorm when the hotel is on fire but who have prior convictions for vandalism?

DrLex

So people in wheelchairs should get off their chairs, and send them up in the elevator while crawling up the stairs themselves?

DrLex

(Thunder) (x10)
I was caught
In the middle of an elevator (Thunder)
I looked ’round,
And I knew I was physicaly able (Thunder)
My mind raced
And I thought what could I do? (Thunder)
And I knew
It was not designed for fire use (Thunder)
Closing the door
Stiectly prohibited
I’m not a disability!
Must use the stairs
It’s been – thunderstorm!

I’m thankful that they told me right up top that this is English because I’m not certain I would have recognized it. And bless their hearts, they tried so hard to prevent from making an unpleasant sign expiorence.

Ah! It is an old Clint Eastwood remake.

@ faulty wiring. I asked a Catholic Priest and he said. “F—- the children.”

So I don’t know whether that was an instruction or an epithet.

Woman: Honey, I thought you were by the pool?

Man: Well dear, I was. But then the water instantly became polluted, and all the foot expired. Everyone got really cranky too and started fighting.

Woman: Looks like someone vandalizes the elevator again.

At this moment, I am riding the elevators to the 200th floor through thunder and lightning with the disables hanging outside and under the elevators soaking in the rain. I really enjoy this ride.

I particularly liked the word “environment”. While technically a misspelling, given the pronunciation of the word it actually makes more sense then the correct spelling. Bravo.

Shouldn’t the fire be stieclty prohibited all the time ?

Except when it’s in season, of course.

Then my disability becomes a liability.

And no, I could not, would not, with a goat.

Riu Hotels is a big chain. Here’s the Wiki-

Perhaps this corker is in all of them? Wouldn’t that be Engrishalicious?
😀

#2 says, “Don’t vandalize to prevent an unpleasant environment.” That means that the place is intentionally crappy and they want you to refrain from cleaning it up. Constructive vandalism is strictly prohibited.

@FatKenney:
You think so because you’ve been mispronouncing it.

You don’t use fires in elevator, no matter who you are! Stairwell fire use is okay.

Are there certain days of the week when fire is not strictly prohibited in the hotel? Hello, I’m arthritis, what’s your name?

Please help, the elevator is stuck and my wheelchair is in there all by itself. I had to let the wheelchair ride first under and outside of my condition of being paralysed from the chest down. Its needs were obviously more important.

Have thunderstorms been known to disable elevators?

Myself

I’m a disability and I am appalled that fire is steictly prohibited even for disabilities. I’m used to hotels making exceptions for disabilities like me in their anti-fire rules. I’m never going to Riu Hotels again.
