Can we just be friends?
“…and that’s how the baby bird develops a taste for roadkill.”
And I like you well done
Put it down, you don’t know where its been.
“Hi, I’d like to meat you; from now on, let’s beefriends…”
Those are Nirvana lyrics.
Now do you understand why I became a vegetarian?
Nothing says “passionate” like a little mouth-to-mouth regurgitation.
Sounds like two octogenarians sharing one set of dentures.
Sounds like a trailer for some Japanese vomit porn.
Love, Jeffrey Dahmer
It starts with sharing gum…
Yikes, what would he be offering to do if he “loved” me?
Meatloaf eat your heart out.
I think someone needs a trip to the information hall of meat…
Jeff Goldblum once told David Letterman about doing this with wine with Geena Davis.
Maybe if they’d done it with meat they would still be together.
i hope everyone knows its the song “drain you”
if not, i am sad.
Pass-on -it back and forth.
Sara Lee rolls it and folds it, and folds it and rolls it, and rolls it and folds it again.
Is this the Japanese equivalent of Sara Lee?
I’m yours Aiume, I’m yours!
“Chew your meat for you
Pass it back and forth
In a passionate kiss
From my mouth to yours
I like you”
…This is lyrics from a Nirvana song called “Drain You”, on the album “Nevermind”.
… Why doesn’t anyone know that?
Is that kosher?
I’m going back to Wendy’s. I don’t care what they threaten me with,
Why is this engrish? Is just a lyrics a song by Nirvana. I think is called Litium
@Potorrero: Good catch. The song is “Drain You”
Engrish.com … You Can See Nirvana From Here.
.
haha, Potottero, I count myself a fan and didn’t catch that. I checked and it is indeed a slightly misquoted and slightly misconstrued “Drain You.” Not a favorite of theirs so I guess that’s why I missed it. Still, Japan does have an odd history of branding things with odd bits of lyrics that don’t make sense to the wearer or probably even the brander, so I’d say it does qualify as Engrish.
I shall pass this one, but not back and forth please . . . yuck!
I can’t believe it took people this long to figure out this was a Nirvana song.
I feel so old.
Alicia Silverstone owns this shirt
This is actually a lyric from a Nirvana song called “Drain You”
Nirvana is mistranslated in many cultures.
A cannibal’s love?
No, No, No !
I said, “The meat, could you please passin’ it ?”
And I meant, down the length of the table !
No, No, No !
I said, “The meat, could you please be passin’ it ?”
And I meant, down the length of the table !
French Kiss Culinary School
Best pickup line:
“I’ve got some meat in my mouth, wanna kiss?”
LOL it’s the people who took the picture who got it wrong. This is a Nirvana song, a bit gross for a t-shirt but it’s not Engrish.
Alicia Silverstone, is that you?
Drain your relationship the easy way
do you really mean it?
It’s a Nirvana lyric, true. But what’s really odd is that the word the designer took away from all that was “passionate.”
Nice to meat you.
Smells like teen spit.
isnt that a nirvana song? XD
This is a lyric from the Nirvana song “Drain You.” It doesn’t belong on this site at all. Pure American poetry.
Here, have some ABC meat-because i love you!
That’s a gross analogy of passionate!
Those the chorus lyrics from Drain You by Nirvana
Yeah, this doesn’t count as Engrish, it’s lyrics, bad ones they may be… but still.
Nothing says love like pre-digesting someone’s food.
