Marum: The only sea-chanty I remember from my childhood was about castaways from a shipwreck. The narrator is the sole survivor, who seems eager to turn cannibal. There was a long list of men by their job titles and he ate them all, ending in “and the crew of the captain’s gig”. He was just finishing this meal when rescuers showed up.
