The taste of most bread in the US is annoyingly sweet, to this Aussie’s taste.

the Chinese text says “The bread will have a (very) pleasant taste after you heat it”.

The source of confusion for the translator are two things: 1) 食用 = “use for food/edible” (this is why “to eat the taste”), which is best left untranslated in English 2) 美 which means beautiful/pleasant but also may be short for 美国 “the US”. And since it is 美美 here (the Chinese just love reduplication), the US appears two times…

Bread description will be run-on sentence repeat itself repeat itself.

@Marum: Luckily, my American friend has great taste in food., so the only domestic beers we drank were craft beers. Didn’t find anything better than we can get here in Oz.
She also warned me to avoid Wonder Bread (she was raised on it) and when we went out to Thanksgiving dinner: “Stay away from that f***ing candy corn!” (The damn stuff was EVERYWHERE!)
They do have a lot of good food in the USA, though; you need to know what you’re looking for.

That’s a pretty broad taste you’re describing there.
