Mush or room
I give up; what would a black fungus drink?
How about a black Angus drink? Or do you have a beef with that?
For those times when you don’t have mush room in your stomach.
@algernon 11:35 pm: Sounds like the ideal place to pour it.
Doesn’t taste great at first, then it kind of grows on you.
Yes. It is fun, Gus.
It’s the Dong Fang Hong rocket.
Dongfeng Base, we have a plobrem.
Shi de. Stupid Li Bao dropped his dinner pack. Now we have thousands of fligging lice glains orbiting our space-capsule.
帮助 !!!!
Tastes like shiitake.
Drink it and be a fungi.
Drink it, and you will end up with a toad’s tool.
The use by date is in the history books.
@FB 0606. It’s OK if you don’y like it, but there is no need to fling scatological references.
It’s not Engrish. It’s actually a drink made from black fungus — specifically Auricularia auricula-judae (“Judas’s Ear”) fungus, which grows on trees.

Exactly!
The fungus is dark brown to black and edible. Very common in Asia (and worldwide). We call it ‘wood-ears’ in Chinese because they grow on wood.
In recent years (especially in Taiwan) it is made into commercial drinks and they are refreshing. The on shown in this photo is from Taiwan and I’ve tried it before.

As others have pointed out, that’s not a mistranslation. I’ve had it before.
