@Frank Burns: Believe it or not, the United States Postal Service actually used Ford Pintos as mail cars decades ago and they lasted a long time in service. Maybe they’re fine if nobody hits them.

@72rd 0917. The first car I ever drove with one of those. I looked at it and thought; Is this a self destruct button? Anyway, I pressed it. The results were underwhelming. After four desultory flashes of the indicators, all went black. (the fuse had blown)
