@DNT 1839. Believe it or not, our first Typesetting Programs were written in Fortran. We had our own assembler, to handle all the fiddly calculations involved in Typesetting. That was in the 8008, 8080, and then 8085 processor days.

God! Recounting that, makes me feel old.
