Erasers are greater things than words are,
Pencils mightier than broadswords.

Reminds me of the USA Vs Russia during the space-race during the Cold War.
The US astronauts found that “biros” wouldn’t write in zero gravity. So the yanks said. “We have the technology. We can do this.” So at enormous expense they designed a biro which could write in zero gravity.

The Russian cosmonauts used pencils.

NB: Bamboo point pens, work in zero gravity too. Because they rely on capillary action, not gravity.
