Beef – bovine, canine or feline.
“Some sort of beef” could be any part of the animal except the moo.
Could be horse
Ears snouts hooves
Can I pay for it with some sort of rectangular paper?
Anyone ever see the Alfred Hitchcock Presents episode “Specialty of the House?”
Might be veal; we didn’t ask the cow’s age.
Scallion? Horsemeat is not beef as we know it.
Give them a break, once the roadkill has been driven over by hundreds of cars, busses, and trucks, it can be hard to identify the “beef”.
