This Engrish is not so bad. It doesn’t really have any Bugs in it.
Babs I’m all ears
Anybody know what this thing is? The hinge looks way too bulky for a lunch box.
It’s a Bulk-Pak of condoms.
‘Tis not surprising she’s Bob’s bunny.
After all….She loots rike a labbit.
Being a Bulk-Pak of condoms, accounts for the hinge/catch size. Sometimes, at that point, one can get fairly frantic.
Anything less robust, would probably suffer premature failure.
I saw an interview on TV, many years ago. The interviewee (a pro) was demonstrating how she gets her clients to wear condoms. She popped the condom out of its foil pack, put it in her mouth, and slid it over the interviewer’s microphone.
The interviewer could only bleat; “I have a condom stuck over my microphone. Can anyone hear me? I have a condom stuck over my microphone.”
From the noise in the background, and several random camera shots of the ceiling and the floor, I can only assume, his whole crew was rolling about laughing.
……and moonshines in my mason jar.
I Tawt I Taw a Puddy Tat!
I did! I did glab a puddy!
@Droll not Troll: it might be a folding portable mirror (beauty aid).
Hehe. My Leyden Jar can hold 2/3 of FA.
It’s not a mistake actually: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Tiny_Toon_Adventures_characters#Babs_Bunny
@Long Tom 0946. Thank’ee kind cur. I was careful to read only the Babs bit. Knowing my mind, I am as like to read it all, and inadvertently memorize it. Thereby wasting several million neural connections, which could be better employed by being destroyed, by drinking single-malt Scotch.
To say I am flabbergasted by that page, underdescribes the situation by a magnitude of MEGA proportions. It would have to be an insane Historian, who would do such a thing to an unsuspecting public.
@Marum | 4:32 am: Condom pack? It’s pink. And mentions rainbows. Not ribbed for HER pleasure, then. 😉
@Marum | 8:44 am: The Football Association? What are they charged with? 😛
@DnT 0457. I meant ferk all. But I guess you knew that.
BTW. You probably know already, a Leyden Jar was an early form of Capacitor.
Of course I knew what you meant. However, every time I see the FA thing it reminds me of a Two Ronnies news sketch where they reported some connection between the Football Association and a sugar company (I think). Ronnie Barker’s final comment was “It probably means sweet FA”.
She and Buster do make a cute couple.
Babs Bunny?
Who the hell is that?
Bugs Bunny’s SISTER???
Doofy Duck, eh?
What about his cousin Doobie Duck, and his brother Darryl, and his other brother Darryl?
(…a Bob Newhart show reference for the folks in now process of scratching their heads….)
Pete: Never heard of Tiny Toons?
Yeah, no more computer bugs.
Wait a minute . . . something worse is coming. Computer babs!
@Long Tom 11:05 am, Heard of it, never watched it more than a microsecond while flipping channels. I grew up on the originals voiced by Mel Blanc. Glued to the set every Saturday for years. Loved them and laughed my @$$ off every time, no matter how many times I’d already seen them. To watch anything OTHER than the originals is, to me, sacrilege. It’d be just like speaking the name of Voldemort in the Potterverse: “The episodes that must not be viewed.” Sorry to be a stickler. I take it there’s a character in Tiny Toons called “Babs Bunny”?… Read more »
@Pete: Like you, I saw the original Looney Tunes but never the Tiny Toons, but I’ve heard of them. Yes, there’s a Babs Bunny and a Buster Bunny, and child versions of the other characters, but that’s all I know. I assume their world and their adult equivalents are separate series and they don’t intermix.
@Pete & Long Tom: It’s probably a generational thing. I’d be interested to know how many Tiny Toons fans have more than sketchy knowledge of the original WB cartoons. Could be more than I expect, though; there were some real classics among those oldies!
I haven’t watched any Tiny Toons, either. Probably won’t ,as I’m too busy trying to catch up on all the later animated stuff from the likes of Anthony Scott, Nick Park and many others.
