Bad Xiang! Go and stand in the door cavity and think about what you did!

@sirpaulfan: Well, Auricularia is a jelly-ear fungus but I have no idea if it looks like the picture when it’s cooked.

Goodbye, Xiang. Don’t let the door hit you in the cavity on the way out.

If a door has a bad Xiang cavity, what kind of dentist specialist does the door go to?

Humour-less me again.
Left to right, first Chinese character Zao is the lees left over of grain liquor production. It can also mean waste or bad.
Second character Xi’an means scent.
Third one, Men, means door.
Fourth, Qiang, cavity.
But third and fourth characters combined means tongue. Usually pig tongues.
Now you know the rest of the story.
Some incompetent translator used online Chinese to English dictionary to translate this liquor flavored pig tongue Shanghai dish into a not so entertaining joke.
Boss should use the translator’s door cavity as an yoyo.

The door has cavities because the Auricularia was growing all over it.
