BigFatCat, Japanese do not pronounce coffee as “kore-hee”. It’s “koh-hee”.
However, is reverse blundering through interpretations of Japanese the opposite of Engrish? What would it be called? Hsirgne? Japagrish?Jagrish?Enganese?
