Finally, a museum… err, musiem, where you can do entertaining things like taming food!
Wait a minute, the food is WILD, everyting else is NAXI, but what about the Horse and the Bow?
After reading about the “wild food toasting” I was half expecting a disclaimer like “flamethrower not included.”
I suppose they are ridding the horse of this funny place…
A funny place with a funny language!
Sounds more like a pitch for a retirement home. Or methadone clinic.
I propose a TOAST!… to the Wild Food!
Hear, hear!
Ah, fond memories of our family visits to the Folk Musiem… making paper, dancing, playing the bow… ridding the place of horses… [sigh] good times!
I found out the Naxi spinning was organized by a spin doctor
This place is so funny, the sign painter could barely make the sign due to all his laughing!
Ha ha ha! They misspelled mewseeum!
Man, how can they mess up the work Fork! The 1969 Oneida Presidential chilled salad fork is by far their best exhibit.
Wait — “spining”? Do they rip out somebody’s spine?
Combine music with ancient artifacts and you get musiem.
Ridding the horse of what? I wonder.
Naxi Restaurant – Just the place to join the Party! Let us cater your next Naxi rally!
You should call ’em as musiem.
i am enjying the wild food and ridding the horse of this musiem.
Man. Now I want to enjy some wild food toasting. Seriously, I’m doing burgers on the grill tonight.
Ah, the musiem, where you can hang out with naxi folk and toast wild animals while spining paper. Mmmm…. toasted animals. Be sure to try the horse!
Funny BELONGS in in musiem.
A wild Sandwich appears!
You had me at dongba…
IF only they weren’t a bunch o’ stinkin Naxis….
I’m not so much worried about the Naxis of the past … it’s the Neo-naxis that I worry about…
I’m sure that when this sign was typed up, someone’s keyboard was configured a bit wrong. If ye substitute “Naxi” with “Taxi”, ye get:
. . Taxi resturant (Cabbie’s fry-up),
. . Taxi spinning (A typical cabbie’s U-turn), and
. . Taxi dancing (That, however, I cannot explain!)
Conclusion: This is actually a transport museum! 🙂
Wild food toasting – Daily demonstrations on the hour! (Please bring a packed lunch) 🙂
Last time I played the Bow in the UK, I got arrested for illegal possession of a weapon…And they reckon that China is a restrictive country? 😮
I was wondering that Hixler was up to these days…
I like this one –it’s tricky because “Naxi” is about the only thing not Engrish here! (They’re an ethnic group located in parts of the Sichuan Province). “Hereis a funny place” inded!

Ahh, I wasn’t aware of that…It looked like a simple typing error, or a keyboard problem that got the Xs and Ts mixed up! 😮
Cheers for enlightening me though, I’ll have to try looking the tribe up online! 🙂
What?! Why are they going to be ridding of the horse?! Don’t tell me that’s what they meant by “enjy the wild food”!!!!
It’s a holistic experience. The Naxi concept of riding the food you eat, dancing and making the dung paper you need in the funny place.
It sure is a funny place.
Naxis this, naxis that; it’s always about naxis with you people!
I might have mentioned the naxis once or twice, but I don’t think they noticed it…
Does this look to anyone else like it was done in Paint?
So this is what Hitler was secretly working on in his final years….
Naxis! I HATE those guys
Folk you all.
Naxis? I shall resist making a crack about Nazis for the sake of China…and instead say, “Ridding the Horse? Mr. Ed ain’t gonna like that…”
Ah, now udderstand! Glad Engrish fore translashon! Four first lines top hard reed! Make naxi dance then spining? Toesting food wild? Make horse away go? This bad plase, knot funny!
This one seems photshopped…
I thought it said Nazi Restaurant lol
Yes! Lets enjy!
Dang, I just booked a Wek Long Special Holiday to DisneyLand!
– And now – bring the Funny Things!
